GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking for qualified and experienced language teachers for Geneva and Hong Kong/Shenzhen China.

Typical responsibilities of the job include:

  • Organizing courses
  • Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
  • Preparing teaching materials
  • Helping students to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions
  • Checking and assessing students work
  • Organizing and running specialized courses
  • Attending continuing education programs
  • Attending social events
  • Teaching mother tongue and culture with passion

Skills And Competencies

  • Mother tongue: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian
  • Knowledge of Mandarin an asset
  • Teaching French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian in Hong Kong/Shenzhen requires English level B2
  • Education degree or equivalent
  • - for Geneva: CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL, FLE, FSEA
  • - for Hong Kong/Shenzhen: Bachelor + CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, TESOL, TYLEC, FLE
  • Excellent spoken and written language skills
  • Clear diction
  • Patience
  • Professional teaching experience, 3 years minimum, (Hong Kong/ Shenzhen 1 year)
  • Experience teaching Chinese students an advantage for Hong Kong/Shenzhen
